Name: Callie
Character desired: Severus Snape
Age: 16
How many Role Plays have you been in?: Tons, One HP related one
Have you read all the HP book?: Yup ^^
Have you seen all the HP movie?: Yup
What is the secret quote?: "I solemnly swear I am up to no good."
What is the characters personality?: Snape is quiet, bookish, brooding, and dark. He's pretty anti-social and he makes a habit of being unnecessarily harsh and condescending. But there appears to be more to him than he easily let's on...
Why should we choose you as this character?: I love him and am fascinated by his mysterious actions and character. And the fact that it's hard to ever really know who's side he's on...xD
And I promise I'll do his character justice.
Give us a Role Play example, at least a paragraph:
In the dark dungeon that is the Slytherin common room, a lone soul sat hunched over a piece of parchment before the dying fire. It was late, and yet Severus refused to leave his Potion's essay unfinished for class tomorrow. He scribbled fiercely away with his quill, his hands shaking slightly from fatigue. He used his free hand to brush some of his greasy black hair from his face as his intense dark eyes stayed glued to the words before him.
As he felt the minutes tick by, the only sound that could be heard were the occasional small 'pop' from the fireplace, the screeching and squeaking of his quill upon paper, and his own slightly labored breathing. Thinking about the noises in the otherwise silent room caused Severus to feel strangely sick, and he shuddered slightly under the first throb of an oncoming headache. Dropping his quill, the dark boy brought a pale hand up to his eyes and, closing them, began to gently push against them. At the feeling of the familiar pressure, his headache eased a little, but not enough to relieve him of his distraction...
Get back to work, Severus.
At the sound of a small voice inside his head, the young Snape gathered up his thoughts and parchment, and promptly returned to his hurried scribbling.
((sorry this example kind of sucks...I'm feeling very uncreative right now >.<))
